Studio Weber North Star Philosophy

Purpose

We design for the Arts of Daily Living, practicing Master Tradition, Open Mode, Curious Play, and Build to Learn in pursuit of Truth and Beauty—to elevate the human experience.

Workshop with workbenches, tool drawers, storage shelves, a milling machine, and other shop equipment. — room to make. room to learn.

Practices

Master Tradition

We stand on decades of making.

Open Mode

Discovery requires openness.

Curious Play

Curiosity expands possibility.

Build to Learn

We prototype to ask better questions.

Pursuit

Truth + Beauty

We pursue Truth—the objective, measurable ways design improves human life and creates meaningful value for business.

We pursue Beauty—the subjective qualities of form, proportion, material, character, and emotion that create connection and meaning.

Great design requires both.

Impact

Elevate the Human Experience

We believe the quality of design shapes the quality of everyday experience.

By improving the products, tools, and environments through which people interact with the world—and by creating meaningful value for the businesses that bring them to life—we seek to make everyday experiences better.
